ABOUT ME

My journey as an artist began in the most unexpected way—I was taken to art school against my will! But somewhere along the way, I fell in love with it, and art became a constant in my life.
I initially studied Interior Design at Kauno Kolegija but never truly pursued it. Hoping to rekindle my passion, I took short courses at Central Saint Martins in London, but my heart led me elsewhere—into photography. While living in London, I embarked on solo travels, capturing candid moments of people and places. I also attended Algis Kriščiūnas' photography camp in Fuerteventura, where I shared my first paintings with him. That moment sparked the birth of Pancakefaces.
In 2018, I held my first solo exhibition in my hometown, Panevėžys, followed by a group contemporary art exhibition at The Brick Lane Gallery in London. Later that year, I was invited to showcase my photography at the Venice Contemporary Art Exhibition and, to close an incredible year, at the Shibuya Contemporary Art Station Exhibition in Tokyo.
This artistic journey led me to Norwich University of the Arts, where I earned my Master’s in Fine Art. During my time there, I collaborated with fellow artists, took part in collective exhibitions, and even had the chance to bronze cast my own characters. After graduating, I compiled my university works into a printed book, now housed in the Martynas Mažvydas Library in Vilnius.
Post-university, I delved into digital art and drawing, appreciating its convenience and cleanliness—yet, nothing truly replaces the joy (and mess!) of painting or sculpting.
Now, after 15 years abroad, I’m back—bringing all this experience with me, eager to dive deeper into the art world and enjoy every step of the process.
